awww what a terrible thing to happen… depression is a nasty illness.. I am bipolar myself and when I’m really ill, I’m a completely different person.. no-one is to blame & no-one willever understand why as the person with depression seldom knows why.. so sad & condolences to marie & all the osmond family.. Bless you all XX

@fran9860 – what kind of human being are you? How can you be so cold and callous that you actually rejoice that a young man is dead and his family mourns. Your comments only illustrate the fact that you can only communicate your opinions with foul language, proof positive your lack of intelligence. You are a poor excuse for a human being and a ameba has more intelligence than you.

Well, just like everyone who suffers from depression, Marie was not herself when she had it. Depression can make anyone act like a totally different person than who they really are & that’s exactly what happened to Marie & her son Michael. Unfortunately, Michael’s depression got so bad, to the point where he obviously took his own life. It’s nobody’s fault, because depression does that to people. I know that from experience from when I had depression all through my teenage years. @jdohe

Dude – I don’t know what family you’re talking about, but it can’t be Marie’s family. Because I know the Osmonds personally & they always express love in every way possible. So don’t judge people before you know them personally. Or better yet, don’t judge people at all. @JPRamon68

@ jdhoe Marie is not a bad mother and she is not a piece of garbage. If you know anything of her then you would know she was suffering from post partum depression. Which she talked about when Donny and Marie had their talk show. She also had other issues going on at the time. Maybe if you walked a mile in her shoes then you would understand her. But do not judge someone until you know them. It was his decision to make and he choose not to talk to anyone.

You know if the family didn’t show such hatred maybe Michael would still be here. I can’t believe that President Monson was there, he partly to blame on his death. It just shows you how blind people are.

Let’s stop berating everyone and just say a prayer for this family, his extended family, his blood relatives, as well. They need prayer and support NOT a bunch of people judging and throwing stones. LET HE WHO HAS NOT SINNED CAST THE FIRST STONE! …….thats what I thought so shut up already.

@jdohe Seems to me he took that decision to end his life upon himself – blaming others makes no sense as no one physically forced him to jump. Judging Marie is so senseless – are you God??? God is the only one with the right to judge each of us, and it’s no one else’s business what goes on between God and the person being judged by Him. Leave Marie alone.

  9. RampGuy1

    @ais312 It’s possible. I’m not sure.

  10. ais312

@RampGuy1 Was his middle name Bryan? Just thinking….

  11. RampGuy1

@loricomp May the Lord bless the Blosils, too. How dare you not mention them. What is wrong with you that you rudely ignore the Blosils.

  12. RampGuy1

His name was Michael Blosil, not Bryan.

  13. jdohe

@loricomp I wouldn’t get carried away with mentioning the Lord with the Osmonds. That nutso Mormon religion is blasphemous, for a long time mormon were considered terrorists, and their enthusiasm for polygamy (which some of them still pursue) and their belief that black people are demons made black by god, make mormons pariahs.

  14. RampGuy1

As I posted in response to another poster, I have not seen anything in writing about Michael’s sexual orientation. Nor do I care about it. What pisses me off is that most of the people, if not all of them(you) are only posting prayers for the Osmonds. No where is it mentioned about keeping the Blosil family in your prayers. Marie is not the only person mourning. There is a man named Brian Blosil, who happens to be MIchael’s father that is suffering too, I guess all of you forgot about him.

  15. RampGuy1

@jdohe Where was anything mentioned about Michael’s sexual orientation? Even if he was gay, he is still a child of God.

  16. writerforlord

jdohe, if you must know (and since you’re attacking me now), I am a christian writer & that is why I chose that psuedo.

  17. jdohe

@loricomp Someone better have some blame for a healthy young man being put into a grave!

  18. jdohe

@ampeterlin But the suicide rates of homosexual children of LDS church members who are condemned by their parents and their religion is extremely high.

  19. jdohe

@writerforlord I think it is pretty sick for someone to give themselves the name of “writerforlord”. Who decided that you speak for the lord? Are you moses or something? Extremely presumptious and blasphemous.

  20. writerforlord

@jdohe Do you know this family personally? If so, I guess you’re an authority. If not, you assume the tabloids true. Its not our business if he was gay or not. He was hurting & none of us knows how much or? why. We DON’T know how Marie Osmond is feeling. Its a struggle to lose a loved one & your heart is breaking. Again I say, “Shame on you”! Until you walk a day in another’s shoes, you dont know. Remember, what goes around, comes around.

  21. katkrazy3308

Oh my God what you said is awful. Marie did so mourn the loss of Michael. Marie loves and cares for her children. You jdohe have no clue as to the kind of things that Marie has had to endure. Marie is a very classy lady. May God BLess Marie and her family. I love Marie.

  22. writerforlord

Why would you make such hurtful & slanderous comments on something that you know NOTHING about. It is not our place to judge. Shame on you!!

  23. jdohe

It amazes me that Donny Osmond is the brother of that complete loser Marie. Donny always does the right thing, yet Marie always seems to do the wrong thing. Marie not only didn’t mourn at all for her dead son, she used his death as a promotional tool to generate publicity for her own crummy act. She cashed in on the burst of attention.

  24. ampeterlin

One recent article from National Sources states: Suicide rates in each of the four age categories studied–15 to 19 years, 20 to 24 years, 25 to 29 years, and 30 to 34 years–were lower among active members of the LDS church than among less active LDS church members, nonmembers and males in the general US population, the report indicates.
